Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Shift Lead to guide the team and support the Practice Manager in delivering exceptional client and patient care. The Shift Lead will help maximize hospital productivity and profitability, while maintaining Banfield standards and a client-focused culture.

You may step in as a Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant as needed, ensuring clear communication with clients and staff and upholding the Five Principles of Banfield.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience.
• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client and pet experiences while guiding the team to maximize productivity and profitability.
• Assist the Practice Manager and/or Chief of Staff in leadership responsibilities.
• Perform duties of Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant when needed.
• Ensure effective communication with clients, internal stakeholders and colleagues.
• Adhere to Banfield protocols and dress/grooming guidelines.
