Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for our Veterinary Sales Team in the United States. You will serve as the face of our Pro Plan Veterinary Diets line, providing nutrition expertise to veterinarians and staff, and developing strategic plans to grow within a designated geography.

You will call on clinics, build relationships with decision makers, and work cross-functionally with regional teams and distributors to drive program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 1+ years of sales experience required.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record and carry automobile insurance in the specified amounts.
• Must be able to travel, including overnight as needed to manage the assigned territory.
• Must have reliable transportation to manage the assigned territory.
• Willing to relocate to the territory upon offer acceptance or for future advancement opportunities.
• Physical requirements include bending, reaching, lifting up to 40lbs, and prolonged sitting/standing.

• Promote Pro Plan Veterinary Diet product line.
• Grow the veterinary business using innovative sales concepts to achieve goals.
• Call on existing and potential clients to drive volume and hit sales metrics.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans within the territory.
• Provide top-tier customer service through consultative selling.
• Collaborate with regional teams, distributor channels, and country counterparts.
• Identify clinics’ business needs using insights to support recommendations.
• Build relationships with key decision makers to gain veterinary referrals.
• Provide nutritional pet food diet expertise through clinic calls, detailing, trainings and events.
