Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year in veterinary medicine, research, or healthcare.
• RVT/LVT certification and/or AALAS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory environment and instruments for courses.
• Perform animal anesthesia, surgery, and postoperative care.
• Handle tissue samples and their disposition.
• Monitor inventory and equipment and take appropriate actions.
• Follow DEA regulations for controlled substances.
• Maintain storage of research data and tissue records.
• Operate radiographic and other laboratory equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean laboratory workspace.
