Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science Degree required or its equivalent in experience.
• 1 year experience in veterinary medicine, research, medical education, or healthcare field required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory environment for education courses and gather instrumentation.
• Conduct technical laboratory procedures, animal anesthesia, surgery, and postoperative care.
• Receive, prepare, position, and dispose of tissue samples.
• Monitor research laboratory inventory and equipment; take appropriate actions.
• Follow DEA regulations for receipt, storage, use, destruction, and disposal of controlled substances.
• Assist in maintaining the storage of research data and tissue records.
• Operate radiographic equipment and other devices necessary for laboratory procedures.
• Maintain the physical environment.
