Job summary

Mars Veterinary division in North Carolina seeks a Veterinary Regional Sales Manager to lead the field sales team, execute sales strategies, and drive regional growth for Royal Canin products.

The role emphasizes leadership of District Sales Managers, product penetration, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals. Willingness to travel up to 70% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Administration, Marketing or Animal Science preferred.
• 3+ years sales experience with multi-functional teams.
• Business acumen in Veterinary industry.
• People management/mentoring or line manager experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License & Clean Driving Record.
• Availability to travel 70%.

Responsibilities

• Achieve profitable sales growth objectives within assigned region through leadership of District Sales Managers.
• Achieve product penetration and focus objectives within assigned region.
• Implement the Royal Canin Veterinary sales strategy and sales process within the assigned region.
• Coach and develop District Managers to help them build their business, achieve growth objectives and KPIs.
• Develop a High-Performance Team Collaboration environment through engagement of direct reports, coach and develop team to meet current responsibilities and prepare them for personal and professional growth.
• Respond to elevated customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions and company meetings as required. Manage expenses and trade budgets.
• Become thoroughly indoctrinated and knowledgeable on the Veterinary product line and sales processes to apply knowledge to District Managers and clinics
