Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates is seeking a Veterinary Regional Sales Manager for the Charlotte/Raleigh, NC region. This field-based role will lead District Sales Managers, execute the Royal Canin sales strategy, and drive profitable growth across the region.

The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of sales experience, strong communication, and a proven track record in people management within the veterinary sector. Travel up to 70% and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Administration, Marketing or Animal Science preferred.
• 3+ years sales experience with multi-functional teams.
• Business acumen in Veterinary industry.
• People management experience in mentoring/coaching or line manager role.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record.
• Availability to travel 70% of time.

Responsibilities

• Achieve profitable sales growth objectives within assigned region through leadership of District Sales Managers.
• Achieve product penetration and focus objectives within assigned region.
• Implement the Royal Canin Veterinary sales strategy and sales process within the assigned region.
• Coach and develop District Managers to help them grow, achieve growth objectives and KPIs.
• Develop a High-Performance Team Collaboration environment through engagement of direct reports and development of team.
• Respond to elevated customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions and company meetings as required; manage expenses and trade budgets.
• Become thoroughly indoctrinated and knowledgeable on the Veterinary product line and sales processes.
