Job summary

Mars is seeking a Vet Regional Sales Manager to lead the regional sales team in the Charlotte/Raleigh, NC area. You will guide District Managers, execute the veterinary sales strategy, and drive profitable growth while engaging internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires leadership experience, veterinary market knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 70% to manage regional accounts and field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Administration, Marketing or Animal Science preferred.
• 3+ years sales experience in leading multi-functional teams.
• Business acumen in Veterinary industry.
• People management experience in mentoring/coaching or line manager role.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License & Clean Driving Record.
• Availability to travel 70% of time.

Responsibilities

• Lead District Sales Managers to achieve profitable sales growth within the region.
• Achieve product penetration and focus objectives within the assigned region.
• Implement the Royal Canin Veterinary sales strategy and sales process within the region.
• Coach and develop District Managers to help them grow their business, hit growth objectives and KPIs.
• Develop a High-Performance Team Collaboration environment through engagement of direct reports and coaching for growth.
• Respond to elevated customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Attend trade shows, exhibitions and company meetings as required; manage expenses and trade budgets.
• Become thoroughly indoctrinated and knowledgeable on the Veterinary product line and sales processes.
