Job description

North Central Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to bring their genuine self to join our awesome team. Do you sometimes break into spontaneous songs? Excellent. Want to talk about your prized orchids and favorite spot for coffee cake? We want to hear it.

At North Central Animal Hospital, we know that it takes all types of personalities to succeed. We have been providing top-notch care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, rodents, ferrets, and other exotic pets to the surrounding community for 29 years. Our hours are Monday through Saturday, 7:30am-6pm, except Wednesday closing at 1pm. We are closed on Sundays. The successful candidate must have:

  • High energy
  • Interest in Life-Long-Learning
  • Computer data entry skills (experience with Cornerstone a plus)
  • Customer care experience
  • One year Plus experience in a veterinary clinic PREFERRED, but not necessary; will hire the right "fit" for our clinic and client needs.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Compassion for pets and people
  • The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and be exposed to hazards associated with pets such as allergies, contagious diseases, noises, odors, bites, scratches, and animal waste.
