Karns Animal Clinic is a well-established practice committed to exceptional patient care and client service. But we're more than a group of veterinary professionals—we're a supportive team that believes we're better together.

We value cross-training, education, and helping our team members discover their own paths for professional growth. If you're looking for meaningful work with people who believe teamwork and mutual respect make everyone stronger, we'd love to hear from you.

Why Our Veterinary Receptionists Love It Here

  • Join a well-established veterinary practice committed to high-quality patient care
  • Be part of a compassionate, supportive, team-oriented culture
  • Flexible scheduling designed to support a healthy work-life balance
  • Work in an environment built around a “better together” philosophy
  • Cross-training and learning opportunities to expand your knowledge
  • Mentoring and support as you grow and advance your career
  • Professional development and continuing education opportunities
  • A team where asking for help—and offering it—is encouraged
  • Leadership that values ownership, collaboration, and continued growth
  • Opportunities to use your skills to make a difference in your community
  • Meaningful daily interactions with pets and the people who love them

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you'll help keep the front of the hospital running smoothly while providing the warm, professional service our clients deserve.

  • Greet and assist clients and their pets upon arrival
  • Answer incoming phone calls professionally and compassionately

  • Respond to client questions and provide information about hospital services
  • Communicate effectively between clients, veterinarians, and other team members
  • Process payments and billing transactions accurately
  • Maintain and update client and patient records
  • Assist with administrative responsibilities, including filing and data entry
  • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Help maintain an efficient daily workflow
  • Support teammates and jump in wherever needed to create a positive client experience

What You’ll Bring

  • Professional, friendly, and compassionate communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Confidence managing phone calls, appointments, and multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when maintaining records and processing payments
  • Comfort working in a busy veterinary environment
  • A positive and supportive approach
