Job summary

Humane Society of Tampa Bay is seeking a friendly, organized front desk associate at Animal Hospital to greet callers and visitors, manage appointments, and coordinate with veterinary staff.

This full-time role (40 hrs/week) includes Saturdays, lifting up to 50 lbs, and serving as the first impression for clients and their pets in a busy hospital setting. We value compassion, professionalism, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Past animal-care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be well-organized and able to multi-task.
• Provide liaison between client, vet technicians and veterinarians.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Able to lift 50lbs or more.
• Past experience working with animals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls from clients.
• Schedule appointments and procedures.
• Check-in clients and monitor client flow.
• Manage record requests between hospitals and specialty practices.
• Client callbacks and follow-up communication.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
