Kiel Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our mixed animal practice. This full-time role offers a four-day workweek with rotating Saturdays (7 am–1 pm) and a competitive compensation package based on experience.

As the first point of contact for clients and their animals, you will manage phones, appointments, check-ins/outs, and records while supporting veterinarians, technicians, and teammates in a fast-paced environment. We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Reliable, enthusiastic, and responsible candidate for a busy mixed animal clinic.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with a service-oriented mindset.
• Experience at a veterinary reception is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries.
• Check clients and patients in and out of the clinic; process payments.
• Maintain up-to-date client and patient records; communicate with team members.
• Support day-to-day organization and clinic flow; provide excellent customer service.
• Keep reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Multitask effectively while prioritizing client and patient needs.
• Contribute to a collaborative team and assist wherever needed.
• Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and teamwork.
• Support veterinarians and technicians in a busy environment.
• Provide compassionate service and handle a variety of responsibilities professionally.
