South Shreveport Animal Hospital in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to welcome clients, manage front-desk tasks, and support patients and families with essential information about services.

This fast-paced role emphasizes exceptional client service, organization, and teamwork. Compensation is $13.50–$14 per hour with a flexible part-time schedule: Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays (1:00–6:30 PM) plus alternating Saturdays (7:30 AM–12:00 PM).

Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

Shreveport, LA

South Shreveport Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.

In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $13.50-14 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a Flexible part-time schedule: Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays (1:00–6:30 PM) plus alternating Saturdays (7:30 AM–12:00 PM).

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred
• Proficiency in the following skills:
• Ability to manage multi-line phones while providing exceptional client service
• Experience with veterinary practice management software (especiallyCornerstone) preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Experience scheduling appointments, coordinating calendars, and processing payments
• Compassionate, professional, and solution-oriented in both routine and emotional situations
• Positive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
