Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

The Whole Pet Vet Hospital & Wellness Center is seeking an outgoingClient Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in‑person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail‑oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team‑focused customer service environment.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $ 24 - $26 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a full‑time position with a 5/8 schedule and availability needed Monday through Friday and 2 weekend inventory days per year.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 2+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare‑related front‑desk experience preferred
• Fear Free Certification or willingness to become certified
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Ability to manage a multi‑phone line system while assisting in‑person clients
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
  • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team
  • Ability to remain calm, professional and solution‑oriented during busy periods
