Job summary

South Shores Animal Hospital in Las Vegas, NV seeks a friendly Veterinary Receptionist to greet clients and manage appointments with efficiency and warmth. You will handle multi-line phones, support clients with information about services, and keep the front desk organized in a fast-paced environment.

The role is part-time with set shifts Mondays and Tuesdays 8am-6pm and Saturdays 8am-4pm; compensation is $14-$16 per hour.

Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

South Shores Animal Hospital is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $ 14 - $16 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a part-time position, with availability needed on Mondays & Tuesdays from 8am-6pm and Saturdays from 8am-4pm.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• Previous experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role
• Veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related experience preferred
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred
  • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records
  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team

We offer medical care, boarding, and grooming for small animals as well as exotics, and have rehabilitation and reproduction services available. Our hospital is well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, surgical laser & cold laser, and recently underwent an expansion of our treatment area. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
