This role focuses on delivering an exceptional client experience, managing appointments, and supporting the hospital staff in daily operations.

The position requires a minimum 18 years of age, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 2 years of veterinary experience with strong clerical and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position.
• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent education/experience.
• 2+ years veterinary experience or related field preferred, with strong clerical skills.
• Excellent customer service and friendly demeanor in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in-person and over the phone in high-stress situations.
• Manages lobby flow, schedules appointments, and addresses client concerns.
• Assists with basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety.
• Handles medication pickups, inquiries, and explains services and products.
• Inputs data into practice management software, including billing and records.
• Supports retail sales and maintains accurate records.
• Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day financial duties.
