Corfu Veterinary Clinic in Corfu, NY, just east of Buffalo, is seeking an experienced receptionist to greet clients, triage questions, schedule appointments, check in/out, and handle payments. The role offers an hourly starting rate and a 9am–5pm/9:30am–5:30pm schedule with rotating Saturdays, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of veterinary or medical experience, a bubbly personality, strong multitasking and computer skills, and a proactive desire to grow.

Qualifications

• Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1-2 years veterinary experience or medical experience-required
• Bring a bubbly, positive, and welcoming personality to create a great experience for clients and patients.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and stay calm in stressful situations.
• Highly organized and possess computer skills
• Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skill set.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments.
• Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises.
• Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.
