Island Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, progressive 4-doctor companion animal general practice in Savannah, GA on Wilmington Island. We have been serving the community for over 40 years and boast a loyal client base and an excellent, tenured staff. Our goal is to create and maintain meaningful and consistent relationships with our clients and patients to provide the best care for each individual. We strive to maintain a community feel in our clinic while utilizing advanced diagnostics and education to uphold high standards of care.
We offer a variety of services to provide comprehensive care, including Wellness Services, Preventative Care, Walk-In Urgent or Sick Patient Care, General Surgery, Digital Full Body Imaging, Ultrasound, In-House Idexx Laboratory (Procyte, Catalyst, Coag dx, U/A analyzer, Sedivue, Snap-Pro, ECG), In-House Pharmacy, Cold Therapy Laser, Electrocautery, Medical Boarding, and more. Our facility features 3 exam rooms, separate dog and cat lobbies to reduce stress, and Cornerstone practice management software with 10 workstations for efficient record keeping.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining the hospital reception area's visual appeal, greeting and welcoming clients and patients, answering questions, triaging client concerns, handling calls and emails, scheduling appointments efficiently, checking in/out clients, and processing payments. Our receptionists provide friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste, and contagious diseases.
