Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a friendly receptionist for Community Pet Health Center in San Antonio, TX. You will be the first impression for clients, manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, schedule appointments, and handle financial transactions to keep the hospital running smoothly.

The ideal candidate loves animals, excels in communication, stays organized under pressure, and can work weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

  • A passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to handle stressful situations with good judgment.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, team-first mindset and ability to work independently or with direction.
  • Experience with veterinary software is preferred, flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays.

  • Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system and greet clients with a positive attitude.
  • Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions.
  • Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services to support optimal outcomes.
  • Embody Compassion and Empathy: be a calming presence and treat each pet like your own.

Your Impact as a Receptionist
