As a Veterinary Customer Service Representative, you will:
  1. Receive and place calls to clients for scheduling appointments.
  2. Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner.
  3. Maintain proper documentation through client and pet records, referral documents, medical history, etc.
  4. Assist clients by providing instructions, information, invoices, dispensing prescriptions, and scheduling future appointments.
  5. Utilize hospital computer systems for documentation and communication.
  6. Manage hospital finances by accurately handling transactions and following procedures.
  7. Provide excellent customer service and professional communication.
  8. Educate clients on pet health, preventative care, and hospital services.
  9. Maintain a positive attitude with clients, pets, and team members.
  10. Show empathy and compassion toward clients and pets.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Use of standard office and veterinary equipment.
  2. Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures.
  3. Flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
  4. Experience with veterinary software preferred.
  5. Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
  6. Strong organizational skills and critical thinking.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good judgment, and stress management.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Pay range of $15.00-$16.00/hour based on experience.
