Brookhaven Animal Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist/CSR to join our front desk team full-time. You will greet clients and pets, answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and manage invoices and records to support the hospital's busy workflow.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of veterinary receptionist experience, strong customer service and organizational skills, and comfort working with both people and animals.

Responsibilities

Description

Brookhaven Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist / Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our front desk team in Atlanta. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and pets and can thrive in a busy veterinary hospital environment.

Pay: $15-$17/hour, based on experience

What You'll Do

• Welcome clients and pets with a friendly, professional approach
• Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and manage client communications
• Handle patient check-in and check-out, invoices, and payments
• Maintain accurate client and patient information and veterinary medical records
• Coordinate patient flow with veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians, and the medical team
• Answer questions and provide information about veterinary services, wellness, and preventative care
• Address client questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming reception area
• Support daily veterinary hospital operations and front desk needs
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of veterinary receptionist, veterinary CSR, veterinary client service, or veterinary front desk experience
• Experience in a veterinary hospital, animal hospital, veterinary clinic, or similar medical setting
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working with both people and animals
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Schedule flexibility, including rotating weekends

Preferred: Experience with veterinary practice management software such as Cornerstone, AVImark, or similar systems, along with experience in appointment scheduling, medical records, payments, and client education.

Full-time | 70-80 hours per pay period Rotating weekend shifts required. Brookhaven Animal Hospital is closed on major federal holidays.
