Chilhowee Veterinary Clinic in Maryville, TN seeks a Practice Manager to lead business functions and support the practice teams. Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, you will partner with the Managing Doctor to ensure profitability, client satisfaction, and growth across operations, HR, and IT.

The role demands strong leadership, business acumen, and a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Full-time, on-site role with weekend work when needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in applied science, veterinary technology, or business a plus; Practice Manager Certification a plus.
• Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds; OSHA safety techniques knowledge.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office; basic math and dosage calculations.
• Strong communication skills and client service experience.
• Experience leading teams in a veterinary or healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages practice financial performance and drives revenue growth with the team.
• Oversees expenses including pharmacy, supplies, labor, and facility.
• Ensures inventory management and accurate pricing in collaboration with MDVM.
• Creates and analyzes performance reports to improve outcomes.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and safety standards across the practice.
• Leads staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations; supports recruiters.
