VetEvolve's Tazewell Pike Animal Clinic in Corryton, TN seeks an experienced Practice Manager to drive daily operations, client service, and financial performance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a veterinary setting.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate diverse teams.
• Strong understanding of veterinary operations, financial drivers (P&L, budgeting, KPI tracking).
• CVPM designation preferred, or willingness to pursue certification.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and safely handle animals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Own hospital-level results across revenue, labor management, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency, reporting to the Regional Manager.
• Manage all aspects of hospital operations to ensure smooth, efficient care and service.
• Oversee employee time and attendance, payroll hours, and timely submission for processing.
• Monitor payroll costs and compare against budget to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Coordinate accounts payable activities and communicate with the bookkeeper.
• Lead inventory management and communicate updates to the team.
• Align inventory performance with budget goals and vendor incentives.
• Develop and manage staff and doctor schedules to balance patient flow and workload.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, and evaluate team members across all departments.
• Foster a positive culture aligned with VetEvolve's mission and values.
• Oversee day-to-day operations in front-of-house and treatment areas for client/patient experience.
• Maintain open communication with veterinarians and share updates with Regional Manager.
• Conduct regular team meetings to share updates and reinforce goals.
• Handle client concerns promptly, escalating to veterinarians as needed.
• Execute local marketing initiatives and social media strategies with Marketing.
• Organize community events to build relationships and local presence.
• Serve as primary contact for PMS vendors; troubleshoot and optimize usage.
• Monitor and maintain medical equipment for safety and readiness.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and address safety/licensing concerns.
• Review practice performance metrics with Regional Manager to identify trends and action items.
