Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and progressive veterinary practice management experience.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience in a veterinary environment.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate diverse teams.
• Strong understanding of veterinary practice operations, financial drivers, and compliance.
• CVPM designation preferred, or willingness to pursue certification.

Responsibilities

• Own hospital-level results across revenue, labor, client satisfaction, and operations.
• Manage all aspects of hospital operations to ensure quality patient care and service.
• Oversee payroll hours and submission; monitor payroll costs against budget.
• Coordinate accounts payable and work with the bookkeeper.
• Lead inventory management and vendor programs.
• Develop staff and doctor schedules to balance patient flow.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, and evaluate team members.
• Foster a positive culture aligned with VetEvolve’s values.
• Oversee front-of-house and treatment areas for seamless client/patient experience.
• Partner with Regional Manager on regional initiatives and financial goals.
