Job summary

Saint Francis Pet Care Center in Tarpon Springs, Florida, is seeking a driven Practice Manager to lead daily hospital operations, optimize client service and staff performance. The PM drives culture, efficiency, and engagement, acting as the integrator on the leadership team.

The role demands strong budgeting, people leadership, and process improvement while maintaining a patient- and client-centered atmosphere in a AAHA-accredited multi-doctor hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• Three years of supervisory experience required.
• Three years or more managing a veterinary practice required.
• Demonstrated empathy toward clients and animals, with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with inventory management and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the veterinary hospital ensuring efficient workflow and service quality.
• Manage inventory including ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock levels of medical supplies.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director to optimize patient care and workflow.
• Hire, train, and mentor staff, promoting teamwork and accountability.
