Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in the United States is seeking a Practice Manager to lead day-to-day hospital operations so the medical team can deliver the highest quality veterinary care. You will develop associates and foster an engaging team environment while coordinating with stakeholders to optimize growth.

You will be responsible for budgeting, scheduling, staff development, and educating clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and hospital services, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Three years related experience required, including direct supervisory experience (hiring, associate development, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring and developing associates, and evaluating hospital processes and productivity.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care and hospital services.
• Budgeting and planning for the hospital; support daily operations and staff.
• Schedule associates, coordinate time off and manage continuing education needs.
