Job summary

Chewy Vet Care is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to join our Healthcare Practice Team in a state-of-the-art clinic. You will supervise paraprofessional staff, manage operations, schedules, and ensure compliance with SOPs and SOCs while delivering patient- and client-centric care.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of PM experience, CVPM certification preferred, strong leadership, empathy, and communication skills; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Practice Manager.
• 2 years of supervised experience with veterinary radiation machines preferred.
• Experience mentoring and leading others.
• Ability to connect with clients and demonstrate empathy and compassion.
• Ability to manage conflict resolution.
• Excellent verbal / written communication, observational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Support paraprofessional staff in implementing policies and procedures, using integrated technology and managing operations.
• Work with regional and corporate leadership to provide support and development for the practice team.
• Provide staff management with oversight of operational performance and coordinate work schedules.
• Conduct staff reviews and mentor team members for career development.
• Oversee inventory coordination and fulfill inventory requests.
