Green Summit Animal Clinic in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to lead daily operations, support a team of veterinarians and staff, and ensure an outstanding client experience.

You will oversee staff development, scheduling, medical records, inventory, compliance with OSHA/DEA, and community engagement, while aligning with the clinic's compassionate care philosophy.

Qualifications

• At least one year of management experience as a Veterinary Practice Manager, or three+ years of veterinary experience.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology, hospital operations, and administrative procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and make fair, thoughtful decisions.
• Computer proficiency and attention to detail when managing records, schedules, inventory, and payroll.
• A calm, compassionate, team-oriented approach and a commitment to employee development.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Development: recruit, onboard, train staff; manage schedules.
• Daily Operations: coordinate office procedures and patient records; ensure efficient appointments.
• Client Experience: address questions about policies, costs, and access; maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Staffing and Communication: collaborate with regional manager on staffing and personnel matters.
• Inventory and Purchasing: maintain inventory, compare pricing, and manage vendor relationships.
• Compliance and Financial Administration: ensure OSHA/DEA compliance and accurate payroll.
• Community Engagement: represent the clinic at local events.
• Practice Support: align decisions with hospital philosophy and standards of care.
