Thrive Pet Healthcare Bayview Animal Hospital in Webster, NY is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead hospital operations and staff with a focus on compassionate care. You will oversee budgeting, KPI analysis, fee setting, inventory control, hospital software, and staff coaching to drive outstanding client service and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hospital management or supervisory experience in veterinary medicine.
• Bachelor's degree in business and/or equivalent business experience.
• CVPM encouraged to apply.
• Experience managing an ER veterinary healthcare.
• Sound personal judgment in decision-making.
• Capable of leading, managing, and coaching staff at all levels.
• Demonstrated competence in budgeting and financial reporting, including reading a P&L Statement.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• A commitment to outstanding client service.
• Solid math and Excel/spreadsheet skills.
• Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more than 40 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Hire and train hospital staff.
• Work with leadership and finance to prepare and manage budgets.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Set fees.
• Maintain inventory and an inventory control system.
• Manage the hospital software.
• Implement safety and security procedures.
