Job summary

Copper Basin Veterinary Clinic in McCaysville, Georgia, seeks an experienced Practice Manager to lead our hospital team and support growth. This role partners with leadership to foster a positive culture, drive performance, and ensure efficient daily operations while maintaining high-quality veterinary care.

The Practice Manager oversees administrative, financial, and HR functions, focusing on growth, operational excellence, and exceeding financial goals in a fast-paced veterinary setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: Supervise and lead all practice staff, including veterinary technicians, receptionists, and support staff.
• Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, billing and expense management, and monitor accounts receivable.
• Client Relations: Build meaningful connections with clients through exceptional service and feedback handling.
• Operations Management: Ensure smooth daily activities, inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
• Marketing, Business Development, and Community Relations: Execute strategies to attract and retain clients and expand community presence.
• Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor laws and maintain records.
• Technology & Software Management: Train staff on practice technology and coordinate with IT support.
