Animal Medical Care in Gainesville, Georgia, is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead our hospital team and support growth. You will oversee operations, finances, staff development, and client/patient experience in a fast-paced veterinary practice.

The role emphasizes collaboration with hospital and regional leadership to foster a positive culture, improve performance, and ensure high-quality care while meeting financial goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related areas preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: Supervise and lead all practice staff, including veterinary technicians, receptionists, and support staff; recruit, onboard, train, and manage performance.
• Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, billing, expense management, and accounts receivable.
• Client Relations: Build meaningful connections with clients and ensure excellent service and communications.
• Operations Management: Oversee daily activities, inventory, scheduling, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Marketing, Business Development, and Community Relations: Execute marketing strategies and expand community presence.
• Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with veterinary regulators and OSHA requirements; maintain records confidentiality.
• Technology & Software Management: Train staff on practice technology and coordinate with IT support.
