Qualifications
- Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician registration.
- Six months of formal training or work experience in pharmaceutical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare drugs and medications based on prescriptions, counting, labeling and packaging as required.
- Prepare and date intravenous fluids and other preparations; recognize medication ranges and initiate corrective action.
- Manage Medication Dispensary and client pickup windows, communicate with clients and process transactions.
- Assist with stock management and stocking of dispensing machines (Cubex) and inventory.
- Maintain pharmaceutical inventory and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Filing, labeling, and organizing dispensary documents; maintain cleanliness of the Dispensary area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
