Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology or Microbiology, or two years MLT experience.
• One of the following: technical trainee as Laboratory Assistant, certified Laboratory Assistant program, or a cert/Associate degree in MLT.

Responsibilities

• Perform necropsies and collect diagnostic specimens.
• Process, package, and distribute laboratory samples.
• Maintain specimen records and update LIMS.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and quality control.
• Train and assist veterinary students and staff.
• Support pathologists with diagnostic, research, and teaching procedures.
