Job summary

Gore is seeking a Veterinary Pathologist at its Flagstaff, AZ research facility to support development of implantable medical devices, including vascular grafts, cardiac and soft tissue devices.

The candidate will perform post-mortem and histological analyses, data entry, and regulatory submissions input, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external experts while adhering to GLP and animal care policies.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD required.
• DACVP in Anatomic Pathology required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.
• Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Gross and microscopic analysis of tissue and implanted medical devices, including necropsies on various species.
• Collaborate with product development teams to design and execute in vivo studies.
• Compile data and write concise reports to meet timelines.
• Present data in written and verbal form to diverse audiences.
• Provide SME input for regulatory submissions and communications with regulators.
