Job summary

Neuralink is seeking a Veterinary Pathologist to deliver expert histopathologic analysis for preclinical programs involving brain-computer interface technologies. You will ensure regulatory-quality reports and GLP-compliant study support, collaborating with engineering, regulatory, and animal care teams.

The role requires DVM/VMD with ACVP board certification or eligibility and strong experience in necropsy, histopathology, and device-related tissue responses.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree.
• Board certification (Diplomate) or board eligibility to sit for the ACVP certifying examination in Anatomic Pathology.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary anatomy, physiology, and pathology with proficiency in gross necropsy, tissue processing, and microscopic histopathology.

Responsibilities

• Perform necropsies and tissue examinations for preclinical studies with emphasis on device-tissue interfaces.
• Interpret pathological findings and prepare regulatory-quality pathology reports for GLP studies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on study design, endpoints, and regulatory submissions.
• Ensure GLP compliance and quality control across pathology activities.
• Lead investigations of unexpected tissue findings and device-related abnormalities.
