Job summary

Hometown Veterinary Partners is hiring a Business Development professional to drive growth in Minnesota and surrounding markets from our regional office. You will identify acquisition targets, build relationships with independent practice owners, and lead partnership discussions through initial outreach, due diligence, and onboarding.

You’ll collaborate with finance and operations to ensure smooth integrations and provide updates to investors as new opportunities arise.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in business development or sales; veterinary/healthcare preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust.
• Ability to manage multiple relationships and opportunities in parallel.
• Based in Minnesota with willingness to travel to partner meetings.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source veterinary practice acquisition and partnership opportunities.
• Conduct outreach and build relationships with independent practice owners considering partnerships.
• Support deal evaluation with data collection and due diligence materials.
• Manage the acquisition pipeline across multiple opportunities.
• Coordinate handoff and onboarding for newly acquired hospitals with finance/ops.
