Job summary

Animal Emergency & Specialty Center in Chattanooga seeks an ICU Veterinary Assistant to join the overnight team. This full-time role offers hands-on critical care experience on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM in a 24‑hour emergency and specialty hospital.

Responsibilities include assisting ICU Technicians, safely restraining patients, monitoring comfort and status, documenting in the hospital software, and keeping the ICU clean and stocked.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management.
• Willingness to learn and grow in veterinary medicine.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Assist ICU Technicians with the care of hospitalized patients.

Animal Emergency & Specialty Center (AESC) is seeking a dedicated ICU Veterinary Assistant to join our overnight team. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in critical care while working alongside experienced veterinary professionals.

Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Animal Emergency & Specialty Center is the trusted 24‑hour partner to neighborhood veterinarians, providing advanced emergency and specialty care when primary care clinics are closed. Our team is equipped with cutting‑edge technology and specialized expertise to deliver exceptional patient care around the clock.

Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
