Job summary

Western Veterinary Partners is seeking a Veterinary Office Manager for Mill Creek Veterinary Hospital, a mixed animal general practice serving our community since 1982. This hands-on leadership role involves guiding daily operations, mentoring staff, optimizing client experiences, and supporting clinical teams on busy days.

You'll work closely with the Medical Director and hospital leadership to sustain a positive culture, coordinate scheduling, inventory, and compliance, while ensuring

Qualifications

• 2+ years veterinary assistant/receptionist or related experience.
• Leadership roles such as team lead or supervisor preferred.
• Strong mentoring, development, and staff support skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced vet setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the veterinary team to foster a positive culture.
• Oversee daily hospital operations including scheduling and inventory management.
• Provide hands-on support on the hospital floor as needed.
• Enhance client experience by addressing concerns and improving service.
• Identify and implement workflow improvements and new processes.
• Assist with payroll, reports, supply orders and other admin tasks.
