Job summary

Edmonds-Westgate Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Manager to lead daily operations and guide growth with a business-minded approach. You’ll mentor teams, work with the Medical Director, and drive key initiatives across finance, operations and client engagement.

The role emphasizes strategic direction, compliance, staff development, and a positive, inclusive workplace culture in a busy four-doctor practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in leadership, business or operations management.
• Veterinary hospital management experience preferred; other healthcare management considered.
• Bachelor's degree or CVPM or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hospital performance, budgets, payroll and finances.
• Oversee workflow, compliance (OSHA, DEA, VMB), equipment and inventory.
• Collaborate on long-term goals, service expansion and partnerships.
• Lead day-to-day operations, scheduling and facility maintenance.
• Oversee marketing, client satisfaction and growth.
• Manage department leads, hiring and staff development.
