Job summary

Colorado State University’s Veterinary Health System seeks a Nutrition Clinical Coordinator to manage consultations (virtual and in-person) and support the nutrition service. You will coordinate client communications, records, and appointment logistics, while supervising student staff and assisting in nutrition education for interns and residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in customer service, veterinary, or healthcare settings is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel for data tracking, and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage administrative communications with clients and veterinarians.
• Oversee client scheduling, records, referrals, and appointment reminders.
• Support inventory management and supply purchases for the hospital food room.
• Supervise student hourly staff and provide performance feedback.
• Assist in teaching and mentoring students on nutrition strategies.
• Ensure accurate financial estimates, consents, and documentation.
