MedVet in Worthington, OH is seeking a Nursing Veterinary Assistant to provide essential patient care in a fast-paced emergency and specialty setting. You will record rounds, support with treatments, assist DVMs, perform in-house lab work, and educate clients on home care and medications.

Qualifications

• Prior veterinary experience required; nursing/critical care preferred.
• Proficient in drug calculations, IV medications, and unit conversions.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Record rounds, discuss cases, and gather information.
• Collaborate with care team on treatment plans and nursing care.
• Educate clients on home care, meds, and wellness.
• Assist DVM with assessment, treatments, and procedures.
• Provide monitoring and nursing care for hospitalized patients.
• Perform in-house lab tests and prep samples for outside labs.
