Job summary

Metropolitan Veterinary Associates in Norristown, PA is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician - ICU to join its COVE Animal Health network. The role delivers hands-on ICU care, monitors vitals, and collaborates with board-certified Criticalists and ER vets.

This full-time role offers a competitive pay starting at $30/hr with a 15% shift differential, weekends, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, CE allowance, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced emergency or ICU setting.
• CVT license is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with clients and team.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on ICU care: treatments, vitals monitoring, advanced diagnostics.
• Work closely with board-certified Criticalists and ER vets.
• Monitor patients closely using advanced equipment.
• Communicate compassionately with pet parents.
• Help train teammates and improve processes.

• Wednesday-Saturday: 2:00pm – 12:00am
• Weekends included
• Please note that some holidays are required.
• Starting at $30/hr. + 15% shift differential
