Job summary

Metropolitan Veterinary Associates, Inc. in Norristown, PA is seeking a Veterinary Technician - Emergency - Overnight Shift Lead to join our compassionate team.

The role is full-time with overnight hours Thursday-Saturday, 6pm-6am, starting at $32/hr plus an $8 shift differential and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. You'll deliver advanced care, monitor patients, and collaborate with board-certified Criticalists and ER vets while supporting ongoing training and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced emergency or ICU setting.
• Experience training new employees.
• Skilled in monitoring, ventilator support, anesthesia, venipuncture, IV placement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on care: treatments, vitals monitoring, advanced diagnostics.
• Work closely with board-certified Criticalists and ER vets.
• Monitor patients closely using advanced equipment.
• Communicate compassionately with pet parents.
• Help train teammates and improve processes.
