Pet Emergency & Referral Center (PERC) in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, seeks a Veterinary Medical Oncologist for a full- or part-time opportunity within a collaborative specialty team.

You will work with internal medicine, surgery, and critical care, leading chemotherapy protocols and patient-specific treatment plans while mentoring staff and expanding the oncology service. Open to flexible scheduling to fit professional goals.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Florida veterinary licensure.
• Board certification in Medical Oncology or residency in Medical Oncology.
• Excellent communication and team‑oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage oncology cases in collaboration with internal medicine, surgery, emergency, and critical care services.
• Grow the hospital’s Oncology service based on clinical interests and goals.
• Oversee chemotherapy protocols and provide individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Support daily client communication, including updates and questions.
• Collaborate with referring veterinarians to ensure continuity of care and strong referrals.
• Mentor chemo-trained technicians, assistants, and support staff.
• Pursue growth opportunities such as ultrasound or clinical trial coordination.
• Utilize advanced diagnostics including ultrasound, CT, in-house lab, and blood banking.
