Ethos Veterinary Health's Pet Emergency & Referral Center (PERC) in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking a Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist for a full-time role. You’ll join a collaborative team of specialists and emergency doctors dedicated to advanced care, mentorship, and client communication.

The position emphasizes Fear Free patient handling, continued professional development, and growth opportunities in ultrasound, CT, and interventional procedures within a thriving Ethos network.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree and eligibility for Florida veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or residency training in Internal Medicine.
• Excellent communication and client-centered approach.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex internal medicine cases spanning GI, hepatobiliary, infectious disease, endocrine, hematologic, and respiratory conditions.
• Perform and order advanced diagnostics including ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, and CT.
• Coordinate with specialty and emergency teams on shared patients and transfers.
• Mentor technicians and assistants as part of daily case management.
• Grow ultrasound proficiency, interventional radiology procedures, and electrochemotherapy training.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful situations.
• Build relationships with referring veterinarians and the surrounding veterinary community.
