Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care in general practice, dentistry, and routine surgery while modeling high standards of medicine and client communication.
  • Lead, coach, and develop associate veterinarians; support credentialed technicians and assistants in a collaborative environment.
  • Set and uphold clinical quality through medical record reviews, case discussions, audits, and patient-safety initiatives.
  • Champion preventive care and consistent care pathways to ensure safe, effective, timely, and client-centered medicine.
  • Partner with practice management to drive hospital performance, client experience, and operational KPIs.
  • Oversee onboarding and skills development for new doctors; provide hands-on coaching in clinical, surgical, and dental competencies.
  • Participate in recruiting and serve as a positive presence within the local veterinary community and student programs.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including controlled substance stewardship and pharmacy standards.
