Qualifications

Responsibilities

The Role
  • Full-time, 100 percent hospital-based working manager role
  • Lead, coach, and retain associate veterinarians across assigned hospital(s), fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture
  • Set and uphold medical quality standards through medical record reviews, audits, and patient safety reviews
  • Provide direct patient care part of the week, including preventive care, dentistry, diagnostics, and routine surgery
  • Oversee onboarding and clinical coaching for new veterinarians; develop future veterinary leaders
  • Partner with practice managers to meet hospital KPIs; create and execute improvement plans
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance, including controlled substances and radiation safety; serve as Responsible Veterinarian for permits as required
  • Manage medical equipment needs and inventory
