Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical leadership for a local group of hospitals in partnership with practice managers.
  • Coach, develop, and retain associate veterinarians; lead onboarding and structured mentorship.
  • Validate clinical quality through medical record reviews, case discussions, audits, and patient-safety reviews.
  • Deliver clinical care part of each week, including wellness, dentistry, and routine surgical procedures.
  • Champion preventive care and client education; address escalated client concerns to resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including controlled substances management and radiation safety.
  • Manage medical equipment needs and inventory with hospital leadership.
  • Track key medical and operational metrics and execute action plans to meet goals.
  • Partner with talent teams on recruiting, externships, and student engagement.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
