Chewy Vet Care Learning and Development is seeking an L&D Medical Manager with a strong background in veterinary medicine and customer service to develop training for onboarding and ongoing education. The role collaborates with L&D, medical and practice operations stakeholders to build a scalable medical training center of excellence and standardized programs for new hires and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or certification in Performance Technology, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, or Teaching.
• Proven Instructional Design and performance consulting experience.
• Ability to write application-level test questions and measurement scenarios.
• Stand-up training experience and ability to deliver Train the Trainer sessions.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration aptitude.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with medical and operations leaders to develop clinic-ready content.
• Reviews and contributes to medical learning content for onboarding and continuous learning.
• Organizes training content with a blend of practical application and technical instruction.
• Project manages medical training programs from intake to execution.
• Partners with Analytics to define success criteria and measure skill transfer.
• Contributes to development of systems and medical training across Chewy Vet Care roles.
• Leverages adult learning principles to improve medical skills and customer experience.
• Participates in in-clinic training, mentoring and content validation.
• Maintains content on a regular cadence to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Manages projects and deadlines to achieve business results.
