The Operations Technician is responsible for proper inventory management in the hospital, including ordering, receiving, rotation, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments to ensure our healthcare team has the prescriptions, supplies, and

Qualifications

• Inventory experience in a medical environment preferred.
• Works successfully as a team member and autonomously.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Creates and submits orders to centralized purchasing based on par levels and frequency.
• Receives shipments, matches them to purchase orders, and inputs into the hospital management system.
• Delivers inventory to proper departments and maintains stock in Central Supply.
• Tracks backorders and communicates delays to Purchasing for quick resolution.
• Approves and codes vendor invoices for service or inventory received.
• Performs daily cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity.
• Coordinate transport needs between hospitals when requested.
• Acts as hospital operations point of contact during business hours.
