Job summary

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets is seeking an Operations Technician in Mobile, AL to manage hospital inventory and ensure the healthcare team has prescriptions, supplies, and equipment needed to deliver care.

You will receive shipments, match them to orders, rotate stock, and track updates in the hospital management system while collaborating with clinical managers and leadership.

Qualifications

• Inventory experience in a medical environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Detail oriented, quality focused, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Creates and submits orders to centralized purchasing based on par levels and order frequency.
• Receives shipments, matches them to purchase orders, and enters inventory in the hospital system.
• Delivers inventory to proper departments and maintains rotation, organization, and cleanliness.
• Tracks backorder products and communicates delays to Purchasing for resolution.
• Codes vendor invoices for service or inventory received and submits for payment.
• Performs daily cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity.
• Coordinates transport needs between hospitals as requested.
